stunning performance.

I'd be pretty disappointed if that were the case.

I hope it's Pearl Jam, whatever it might be.

i think Bruce sometiumes can fall very squarely into that category of other people do his songs better than he does..there's obviously a huge amount of exceptions in his catalogue but that version of that song..incredible i thought.

There's something about Springsteen's music that just doesn't translate to me in the slightest.

I was like that for literally years..dunno what it was turned me..i can still only deal with the hits for the most part..his catalogue is so vast as to be intimidating...

He seems so earnest and humourless.

(Says the Pearl Jam fan. At least Pearl Jam have Stone's goofiness to balance things out.)

I cant put my finger on why I dont like his stuff, I dont knock it really. He seems like such an act to me I guess, again, coming from a Pearl Jam fan I know.

He's incredible at what he does, but the huge sense of self importance he places in his work sorta throws me..i love that he puts out extended editions of his records and writes and talks about them, but it's kinda offputting the way he goes on about it like it's this almighty godlike genius he's sharing with us little people..

There was a thread in OB last year about what the greatest rock song of all time was. Born to Run was my vote.

Certainly closer to the mark.

I don't recall voting in that, though I probably would've gone for I Wanna Be Your Dog.

Maybe PJ should let us vote on a song for them to cover for Fan Club Single 2012.
