My God there are so many awesome performances of Pearl Jam that I've never seen before that I'm finding everyday on YouTube, I was hoping maybe we could start a thread sharing some of the best finds. I found this one today, Miami 4/23/ 1992. I love the silhouette of Eddie prior to him ripping off his shirt and diving into the audience. The Crowd surfing is intense, and I love the other crowd surfers holding hands with Eddie. Intense. Porch |

Ok watching those above videos, and believe me i have spent hours watching that "mudfest" winnipeg 93 show, sure..it was a great time. but im so over it. Just cause they are ferocious and angry doesnt make them a better band. Eddie forgot just as many lyrics back then as he does now (ratio wise as far as number of songs) its a different kind of passionl. But yea, i still get fired up when i watch that Winnipeg outdoor show from 93. good times

I'm sure it'll be back at some point, I think they have fun playing with the whole "will they? won't they?!" aspect of it, just look at Leash. They teased people for a number of years before finally pulling that one back out. No Way works surprisingly well live too, certainly not a mood killer. |

I loved what Eddie was doing with "Corduroy" around the end of the '96 tour. I don't know if I like this version better, or the one he did solo in Rome that was really punky. Always had a place in my heart for this one though. I remember reading about it, finding it somewhere as a 60+mb .wav file, and spending nearly 2 days trying to download it on a 14.4 kb/s modem. |
