Well certainly you have zero objectivity or frame of reference for really discussing music if all you listen to is one band. By the same token, whatever floats your boat.

I love PJ for sure but I haven't been interested in listenning to them at all for the past few months.

Maybe that's why they tend to have absolutely no bullshit detector over there. It's kinda like if you listen to nothing but Christian worship music, you won't realise it's mostly a bunch of manipulative overly sentimental crap.

Even in the late 90s and early 2000s when my fandom was at its absolute peak I would still go months without listening to Pearl Jam because you just get burnt out after a while. And there's so much more good music out there!

Until Pearl Jam radio hit Sirius, I probably hadn't listened to 3 hours of PJ in the previous 2 years. Now I listen to that station at least a few minutes almost every day...
