back in January both Stone & Mike had mentioned it, and now Eddie.

Stone Gossard, recently interviewed by Henrik Tuxen (link) has revealed that the band is currently in studio in Seattle working on new material. The tracks may be part of the EP mentioned by Mike McCready a few months ago and that could be published in a relatively short time. McCready, during an interview with Planet Rock (an English radio), has revealed that these new songs could debut at the Hard Rock Calling in London, during Pearl Jam's appearance on June 25, 2010.
and one song did debut.
i'm encouraged, but don't expect anything in "short time."
Wow, how did I miss that? I'm kinda excited again...well, excited on a Pearl Jam time-line kinda way!

If post-Binaural, the band had released an EP with the following tracklisting

That'd be a classic EP, right there.
sure--an EP with down, undone, and otherside would have been nice too, but those worked as b-sides as well. As long as they're just releasing more good music I'm happy with it. I think the success of lost dogs has made them leary of releasing random stuff when they could save it for a b-sides album
Or they could have just dropped this on us in 2003:
Sad Hitchhiker Otherside Puzzles & Games Down Fatal Otherside Education In The Moonlight Undone 4/20/02
Pearl Jam shows: Champaign 4/23/2003 Chicago 6/18/2003 St. Louis 10/05/2004 Portland 7/20/2006 Gorge 7/22/2006 Ridgefield 9/26/2009 Philadelphia 10/31/2009

Id be happy with that, even with otherside on there twice

A post Binaural EP that had a finished "Anything In Between" would have made me frost my pants for sure.

add the instrumentals from Touring Bancd and you got a good one.

What if THIS:
Sad Hitchhiker Otherside Puzzles & Games Down Fatal Otherside Education In The Moonlight Undone 4/20/02
Had been Riot Act, and Riot Act was released as a post-Riot Act EP??

Anything in Between was given a little fixin' and released on Avocado under the name Severed Hand.
My only issue with this statement is that the two songs sound nothing alike. Different structures, different chords, different melodies...different song
