Red Mosquito :: View topic - 2010 Christmas Single?

I'll be interested to see if this is a show that is ultimately featured as a Vault release. It's a great show, but it seems like they'd really be kind of crapping on the single if they ultimately release the whole show. Also, there are several false starts and aborted songs and unusual covers in that show, so if they're still editing material it wouldn't be worth it at all.

Did anyone actually get this in the mail yet?

Just got the email version with a PDF of Deep and 192kbps mp3s ( :evil:

) of the single.

Does anyone get why they've called it "No Jeremy" :?:

I wonder why one of them is 192kb/s and the other is 256kb/s... and encoded with two different versions of iTunes?

I kinda think Tim just googled "Falling Down download pearl jam fan page", and just grabbed it whatever he could find.

i have no idea if this counts under my digital version of my membership or not (the cutoff date is always close to my membership expiration date). got the email for the digital download, and it says: "As part of your 2010 member benefits your Deep 7 and 2010 Vinyl single are in the mail. Please enjoy this digital version of both the magazine and single to tide you over until they arrive in your mailbox."

assuming i'm getting the physical version? or was that just a generic email that everyone got no matter what?

these versions are fantastic. i remember buying this overpriced bootleg in '97 and really loving these 2 songs. worth the 14 year wait.

Got it yesterday. Really love some of the artwork on this thing. Its nice to listen to these tracks again. Had this show on tape years ago. I had kinda forgotten about it, and its been quite a while since I listened to these songs. Love the quality.

Man, "Falling Down" sucks! Even as a soundboard. What a stinker of a song. It might actually be worse than "Hold On" and I didn't think that was possible.
