Mostly?! :lol:
Actually only 3 songs use the Hamer 12-string: Why Go, Jeremy, Leash. Just those 3. His main bass is a Jazz Modulus and one with a weird body with a Modulus neck. Both with the same Bartolini pickups.

oops. sorry, misunderstood. i was trying to say;

He uses a fender jazz on that VH1 Story Tellers show. There are some very old pics where he appears with a Stingray.

No Way is Stone.

Dirty Frank is one of the best bass lines. He is so open and funky. After the Gorge some people were talking of the song as fun, silly nostalgia but I thought it was, is and can be vital as far as just straight musical greatness. Jeff makes it.

Been noticing Jeff much more these last 4-5 years. He really stood out in San Francisco 06 and that might just be my new direction, not his. I'm going to look more into this bass line discussion and really have something to contribute soon!

As much as Ten isn't really my favorite PJ album, there's some real interesting stuff that Jeff was doing in those songs. Little chordal flourishes, harmonics, lots of color to his playing.
