this is probably the song on this album I like listening to the most.

The love for this song in the first few pages of this thread feels a little, uh, uncharacteristic of the tone of the board nowadays.
Yeah. I don't know why so many people have decided they hate this album. Well, I do, but I don't understand why most of those people really liked it at first. I don't really understand such a massive change of opinion.

Being a long time Pearl Jam fan is complicated. It gets confusing.

Like I'm not?
I understand it happening the other way, I mean hating an album and then deciding you love it later on (as happened to me with Binaural) but if you love something on first listen, surely the worst change possible is boredom / indifference, not hatred?
Please understand, this is all completely, thoroughly important to me as a long-time PJ fan.

backspacer gets a lot of Elayna related play these days. I often put it on when she comes home from daycare. She likes to dance to GSMF, but since she's 14 months old dancing is basically just bobbing up and down.

True story: Kevin Davis and I discussed you at length during our interview about his book, but it ended up in the cutting room floor.

I started reading KD's book, but I only took work stuff with me on vacation. I hope to get back to it in a week or two since it's really good so far.
