it was a benefit event...album sales will most likely go to the benefit, so no, not too much

Interestingly enough, the last time The Who and The Rolling Stones played together was 1968.

I liked the performance. I think Eddie sounded a lot better than he has recently.

Yeah, I like when he's a little star struck...clearly he was very concerned about a perfect performance. No chit chat, no flying all over the place...just standing and delivering.

I would argue he was the only guest vocalist to receive headline billing.

And it was the highlight of everything I saw, by a long shot.

I liked Ed's performance, but I wasn't blown away like some people around here. The last time i was blown away with Ed was at the 2008 Rock Honors The Who concert. That's where I came away saying, "Wow, there's still a little something left in the tank there."

That being said, I'm happy he's still around and enjoying himself.

Yeah, those two performances (especially Real Me) were terrific.

So Ed just did the one duet? Bummer.

I DVR'd the thing. I'll watch some of it late tonight, prolly.

Dave Grohl was pretty awesome on the drums, but fuck if I was staying up past 1am to watch it.

a nice moment for our guy. i thought he did great, and so did a lot of other people apparently.

also nice to see him being embraced by yet another member of rock royalty.

would have been nice if he got more stage time, but he made the most of it.

nice job eddie lou. now go home and finish the fucking record already.
