He still can be a huge douche, whats your point?

I like that Kanye is a "douchebag." I honestly think he's the only rock star left these days.

That being said, as a live act, he leaves a ton to be desired. Hip-hop's fatal flaw (in most cases): guy running around arena to backing track is almost never compelling, even if the songs are eminently so.

Kanye is still a great perfomer despite his ego.
Ed too.

My point is, it's a douche move to assume someone you've never met is a douche.

Kanye has a lot of fun with effects though, almost to the point of a fun sort of excess. It's so fun to see him get lost in his own sound and then lose it.

Brother Ali makes Kanye West look like Nickelback. Is all im saying.

Also, im just kidding.

I just think he's a first class delta bravo. I know he's talented and there are a number of tracks i enjoy but overall - He's a d baggo. I dont even think there is anything "punk rock" about him. He does not seem to be self aware enough to be that cool...

His absolute lack of self-awareness is what makes him actual "punk rock."

I'll beg to differ with you here. This is the kind of performance that would get your drunk buddy killed at a pre-prom party.

And you're wrong, Kanye is a great performer BECAUSE of his ego. Get your rock-star facts right jackass with 10 million posts. Rock star always = ego, every single time.

Just try to have two competing thoughts in your head, hell, let's try 3:

1) Kanye is a rock star (possibly the best today)
2) Kanye is a genius maker of the music
3) Kanye is a horrible live act

Love Always,
Mick Jagger aged white who doesn't get the rap
