The Evens are Ian MacKaye's current band. Not sure about Clark Kent.

So was there interesting about this, or was it just that bunch of songs being used to illustrate why he hasn't had any new ideas the last 10 years?

Look at me, I'm so superior to the singer/songwriter that I purport to be a fan of.

It's Ed playing songs he likes and talking about why he likes them. It was okay. It didn't "suck" and it didn't "rule." I don't see anyone giving any shit to Little Stevie who continually does the same thing, albeit in a much more slickly produced and thematic format.

So the answer to my question is 'no,' then?

I love Little Stevie's show as well, and yes, he's better at it than Ed. I just don't understand the mentality of giving Ed shit for this.

Depends on what you consider interesting. It was definitely interesting hearing early Joe Strummer and Ed/Roger Daltrey perform Naked Eye.

Guys, everything about this is special. The charm is in the awkwardness. Don't you see?

hmmm..I have a feeling that this is recorded some time ago....he mentions Jeff's 'Tone' being released....it was released in 2008 and already has a new (and better one) outthere..same with Ed saying that 'The Evens' working on their new record..that one came out earlier this year...

It's still cool to hear this show...it like the tunes Im hearing..

and the 'Croon Spoon' being played here is not the one released with Susan Surandan, it's the unreleased one with Kim Gordon!!
