No clue, but Away From Home is a fun little song. It was also played on Self Pollution Radio. I love the college radio vibe the track has going for it.

hmmm..I have a feeling that this is recorded some time ago....he mentions Jeff's 'Tone' being released....it was released in 2008 and already has a new (and better one) outthere..same with Ed saying that 'The Evens' working on their new record..that one came out earlier this year...

It's still cool to hear this show...it like the tunes Im hearing..

Goddamn that would be weird. It would be like in Dublin 2010 when he called "Of the Earth" a new song... (that Jeff had mentioned in 2004.)

I think TwoFeetThick confirmed on Twitter that the show was at least recorded before the recent tour - I guess it could be older still.

Cant be that much older if he played Naked Eye with Roger Daltry

I could swear he said something about doing this after a tour that just ended.

I like how he said that if Pearl Jam covered a Soundgarden song, Ty Cobb would be his choice. Mine too.

The September Pearl Jam shows, maybe?

I swear there was a 1998 interview where the band said they wanted to try Room a Thousand Years Wide - that would be pretty cool.

Yeah, he said something like "when I played in London on a small solo run I just got home from..."

It does sound like a fun listen, but after reading the instrumental credits, I'm suddenly skeptical.

I have no complaints about it. PJ fans are needy bunch, and every time one of the band reaches out, it's a good thing. I just think people surprised this was prerecorded a while a go and not spontaneous as was implied (though not stated).

Uh, we still dont know when it was recorded? Wasn't that dude earlier just speculating...and speculative from like 5 years ago?

I was talking more about posts earlier in the thread. I don't see how it matters when this one was recorded. Stuff like this is planned months in advance of it's eventual release. Eddie getting abuse from hipsters about how they're more hip than him is laughable in the extreme. That's how it goes with hipsters I guess.
