It's a shame that he didn't play Washing Machine on the air in '95.

he would've but he had to play the gits so he could warble on about women's reproductive rights.

I've always thought that a lot of those East Coast boots from the 2000 tour sound so much better than the rest of that year almost solely because the band wanted to impress Sonic Youth. Or prove something to them, or whatever. There's a noise element to those shows that I've never heard before or since from Pearl Jam.

There's definitely a noise influence that tour.

thurston moore handled lead on all the RVM jams of that leg from side stage so mccready could heat up his crack spoon before the encore break.

The "RVM" jam from New Orleans that year is probably my favorite recorded instance of Pearl Jam as an improvisational unit.

Those little noises they'd play as the song settled down right before a tag kicked in.

Wait - I remember a version of My Generation back in the day... he tagged "i hope I die before Im bob Mould"

I remember being offended by that early on. Like "hey, what the fuck, why do you hate bob mould and thus MPLS rock?"

Im not so certain that is what it was about.

So, Why the fuck cant vedder talk about him more? Im kind of tired of the ramones.

You dropping an acronym like "MPLS" over and over again isn't going to make it any easier for an internetter to grasp, stratzo.
