This thread pretty much exists because I wanted to make this poll

Personally I'm a WWS man. I tend to like their faster songs and the things I don't like about adam kasper's production are more noticable. I applaud them for the subject matter in unemployable, which is RARELY touched outside of bruce springsteen, and I still like the song, but I LOVE WWS.

I can't choose. Two very different songs, but I give Wws the musical edge, and Unemployable the lyrical one. I just wish the latter had more verses, then it would egde out Wws.

this poll is like colbert's president poll "is george w. bush a great president? or the greatest?" i like both songs, for different reasons for they are different types of songs. so i had to pick "dont make me choose" since it was the closest thing resembling how i feel even though thats not the proper choice.

Unemployable is straight-up old-fashioned rock and/or roll. Eddie's voice actually sounds good on this song, whereas he sounds like grandpa on WWS.

Unemployable.

The chorus of WWS is embarassing.

Plus Unemployable sounds pretty cool and unique for PJ, and it has kick ass harmonies. Half of WWS is unique, the other half is a formulaic Save You rehash.

Unemployable. easily.

WWS definitely "rocks" harder, but it's still not THAT hard of a rocker imo. musically & melodically Unemployable is just way more interesting to me.

lyrically they're close.

My vote was kind of speculative.

I think that in about 2 months im gonna be sick of WWS and it'll fade like so many other PJ songs have.

Unemployable on the other hand I think has lasting power. The lyrics are so strong, ther's so much BRUUUCCEEE in there. Like GoS said another verse would have been nice, but I still think this is a great song

This is really not even that close to me, I think they are both "instant classics," but Unemployable is just fucking fantastic. It sounds like nothing they have ever done before. I really love this song. My only concern is whether or not they can pull this song off live.

BTW stip, you really seem to have the pulse of the PJ nation. About 30 minutes ago I thought, "Someone needs to put a WWS vs. Unemployable poll up" and presto I went online and there it was. Bravo.

I love both and I think by tomorrow I'll be in the Unemployable camp, but now I'm still a little bigger fan of WWS.

Yeah definitely. Even after hearing the 30 second clip, I thought "is that really the chorus?". Most PJ songs have verse melodies that stick in our heads with ease, but I just don't get the guitar riff. Also, I find it strange that the music for the bridge is the same as the chorus.
