I do, but I've been learning that many people keep them in the package. So they can preserve it as a collectable. But, if you never plan on selling it, its just as worthless as a paperclip. So open your sealed No Codes, your sealed Soldier Fields, your sealed Benaroyal Halls and play'em.

I have the same outlook. I make sure to enjoy mine just as they should be enjoyed - on a turntable.

I open some and I don't open others. The red vinyl is collectible only, imho. If I want to hear the songs, I can listen on cd.

I've opened and played all of mine, including Benaroya.

i open all my vinyls. they're meant to be listened to...not looked at. if i want to look at art, i'll buy some art, not some vinyl.

speaking of vinyls, my sealed (soon to be unsealed) copy of binaural will be here in about an hour!!! will definately give that one a spin soon!!!

If I ever owned a vinyl, I'd open it, because I'd want to see which set of Polaroids I got.

I got my first vinyl today (besides xmas singles, which came today also). Vitalogy (opened) with STBC single. Got em off ebay for like $12. The packaging on Vitalogy is too sweet not to be opened and savored. I haven't listened to it yet, but I will tomorrow.

VS (sealed) and Merkinball (unsealed) are on the way from eBay purchases. Vs will quickly be opened. Lost Dogs is on the way from 10C as well.

If anyone wants to trade or sell me their copy of No Code or Yield, shoot me a PM. I don't care if they are unsealed.

The only albums I have on vinyl are Vitalogy and No Code. I got them for the artwork in large size primarily. I've played No Code once I think. They are mostly just "for to have".

My christmas singles I've played all of those. But mainly to encode them into my computer. I want to be able to listen to the songs without wearing out the vinyl, and I do a better job of encoding than any of the copies I've ever downloaded from the internet.

I love and listen to my vinyl all the time (200 + records at the moment). Beneroya gets limited play on the turntable because I'm too lazy to get up and change the records (don't laugh, with 4 records that means flipping or switching records 8 times!)
Can't wait to get the XMass single

I'm going to go against the grain and say I own a ton of PJ stuff on vinyl and I don't open any of them. I know I won't sell them, but that's not the point. I like to keep them as collectables, and someday I will get a nice display case to put them in.

I've listened to my Ten, No Code, LO2L, and Yield on vinyl. The others are all sealed.
