Kinda funny to think Ed shops on Ebay....
My Dad Met Eddie Vedder!
Okay, so my dad sells guitars on Ebay. And this one time, he sold a black tele custom to a guy named Ed from Seattle. Since it's not too far away (we live in Maple Valley) my dad agreed to meet Ed at Starbucks and give it too him. The whole time my dad's thinkin' this guy looks kinda familiar. And after it's all done, the guy's like "Hey, I'm in a band, and we got some free stuff for ya. So he gives 'im this box, right? And it's full of PEARL JAM STUFF! And now we can get free tix to their shows!
id say hes full of shit because why would ed need to buy a guitar off of ebay?
a guitar is not about just about a brand or a sound...it's also about the look...he might have seen a picture of it and just loved it, that's all...
stop the bs, eddie's like you and me...it's not because he's a singer in one of the greatest bands in existence that he doesn't have the right to shop on ebay...
anyway, we have no idea whether this guy is lying or not, so lets not argue about it...

It definitely could be true. Eddie tries to live like you and me not like a spoiled rich asshole that doesnt do anything for themselves. I remember an article where he was talking about going to Home Depot because he needed some metal poles for something he was working on at his house and how they all fell out of the truck and he didnt realize it until he got home and had to go all the way back and buy them again. Pretty funny story but it just goes to show not all rich stars have their butlers do everything for them.

But it could easily be true, maybe he was checking out how much he could get for benaroya and came home with a guitar...
