I just bought Yield a few days ago. What took me so long?! I love this album, and I think that it is tied with Riot Act for my second favorite PJ album.
The cover photo is my favorite, I would like to see that road, it looks so beautiful. I dont know about anybody else, but now everytime Im driving down the road and see a Yield sign, I get this incredible feeling. I dont know how to describe it.

...is the ultimate snowstorm album.
I know it is commonly referred to as the best driving or the ebst summer album, but its not. The opening notes to faithful are a perfect accompaniment to snowflakes falling from the sky. Low light is amazing to hear when the clouds are actually rolling by, as the wind blows the snow right back to where you just shoveled it from.
Nothing is better than breaking out the yield vinyl, putting on the fireplace, and in the middle of a storm enjoying some good tunes.

I defintely am more into the energized songs like given to fly and in hiding and faithful when i am cruising and belting it out during the summer...i'm much more of a vs./vitalogy/riot act guy in the winter
