Which one's the worst?

I should say "least good/great" as I still enjoy DTE a lot and its tons of fun live. My bottom 3 Yield songs would be Wishlist, DTE, and PM,PM. I like all 3, but those are the only tracks I ever skip.

Don't forget Red Dot!

:finger:

For the record, I enjoy Red Dot.

I said "ever" skip. I usually do not. But if I do it's one of those. Why would you skip a Yield song ever, 04/05? Let's say I'm driving to work. It's a 30 minute drive and I really want to make it to In Hiding. So it happens sometimes. I'm not something I'm proud of, but it occasionally happens.

I put Yield on today and went to that fourth track. Then started the album proper. Then when number 5 started I went back to number 4 again. It was a GREAT ride home.

you know, I really really love that track n° 4. i don't think it can't be put in words how I feel about that one. I'm in Rome next week. I'm seriously considering putting a tattoe of the statue on my back.

Ok that is perfectly acceptable. I do that too. There are no songs that I skip often in that situation though, it depends what song I want to hear more at that time. Sometimes I'm really itching for ATY so when I'm a few minutes away from my destination I skip ahead to it.

For some reason when I listened today I really focused on the lyrics. Made me fall in love with the song all over again. What a great story Ed's telling there.

It's similar on No Code. Sometimes I go straight to Red Mosquito or Present Tense....but then later that day when I have time I have to play the first half over and over to appease my obsessive compulsive disorder needs.

other times I just put on the GTF single for a few hours. I have some versions without B-side, so I don't have to feel guilty for skipping a track.

So I take it by your inability to finish your review you were unable to continue due to the massive quality of what you were hearing, right? :D

Anyways, I speed-read through this thread, trying to pick up on stuff I've missed, and you are absolutely brutal. I'm worried you may be beyond help. Anyone who thinks that No Way is one of the worst rock choruses in history may be beyond my ability to defend it.

I think the thing about Yield is that it's not a concept album in the sense that it is telling a story. It's a concept album in that it is a conversation on similar themes. Whether it was planned or a happy accident, all the members contributed exactly what was needed, for the most part.

I'll finish this later tonight or tomorrow. I had a really busy day today. i did finish listening to yield though

it's weird. I think the people who really love yield and binuaral love those records more than other people love their favorites
