actually it would be nice to see actual seasoned musicians, especially with such a uniqe perspective like pearl jam has. i mean that in the sense that they are so independant and have taken alot of chances and done what they wanted to do from day one. to me the judges on american idol are like washed up college professors who couldnt quite make it up in the industry so they go into the university system to spout that what they have seen and know is EXACTLY how it is, which is totally false.
