Anyone hear of a dvd called "Hype"? Its supposed to come out Dec. 23. You could pre-order it now. Its supposed to be made by eddie himself. And is there a video anywhere of PJ singing Release? The song has a special meaning to me and I always wanted to see them perform it.

if its the hype that is on tape of the grunge days eddie did not make it himself but he is interviewed in the tape...they are probably just putting it on DVD.

it's a great documentary if you don't know a whole lot about the seattle scene other than what you saw on mtv..

it definitely isn't all about pj.. but it's quality.

Hype 2 should be made now, with the "new" Seattle scene...Minus the Bear, These Arms are Snakes, Botch, Onalaska, Sharks Keep Moving, Sleater Kinney...ect.

Wouldn't make much sense, considering the first one was about the Seattle scene exploding into the mainstream.

Of course, I would watch it if they did make one. Hype is one of my favorite movies.

Hype! comes out on Dec. 21, according to everywhere I've seen this info. I think I'll pick it up for sure.

they are AT LEAST adding an extra Mudhoney performance as well as director's commentaries from what I've read. WOuld be cool if they added some PJ stuff, in particular stuff from Self Pollution Radio '95
