Yes I did. It was awesome there, I had a really good time.
The Got Guts bracelet I bought there from the Crohns Disease people just broke though. I met some dudes from Boston there who said they met Stone on the street as well that day.

Montreal 05 is my favorite boot (of the ones I got) from the NA 2005 tour.
This band was on that night. Best Porch, Betterman, and by far the best Crazy Mary of the versions I've heard since 2000.
Strange,
I really really enjoyed the show, with I Believe in Miracles and Light Years (!!!) the highlights for me.
but in my appreciation it gets overshadowed by Kitch-Lon-Hamilton before and Ottawa afterwards.
And I'm so hurt by seeing Footsteps was on that playlist but not played.

I responded to your PM. Thats funny as hell, we hung out that whole day. I was telling you to join this board then, it took you 4 months, but welcome.

yeah, grumpies was a great little bar. there was a place two doors down that we were back and forth between, but the second place had shitty service (but hot waitresses).
montreal was a pretty fun show, but the other shows i saw this tour were the gorge, ottawa, and philly... all of which i think have the edge over montreal. great version of 'trouble' though!
I didn't really like Grumpies at all compared to the other pre-parties, It wasn't as well organized. The "free" shooter tasted like floor wash and the place was tiny. Don't want to sound ungrateful though, it's still awesome that there were pre-parties and it was a great place to meet people before the show.
I thought the show was great, not setlist wise, but atmosphere. Montreal is still the best crowd I've ever been a part of.

I was there too.
Fun times. It was fun, cause I was so excited about the show and the guys who hung out with me were fun.
I met 2 guys from San Jose, they're cousins Chris and Rick or something like that. Don't know if they post here, though...
If you do And there was also this cool dude from Vancouver (Rob) who sold me his extra 10c ticket There was a bunch of pretty lound people there, aswell. Hehe, and drunk... Fun times indeed... At the pre-party and at the show.

Yeah, that was fun. Grumpies was too crowded for me so I ended up going a few doors down with some friends. But it was good to see everyone so happy and meet some of you.
I will always go to the pre-show functions if I can, now. Good times.

Grumpies was fun, it's always nice when you can pick up some bud and smoke a bone right in front of the bar The show was great, we had kickass seats on the "wings." Montreal is always a good time, but being there to see PJ just made things 100X better.

Grumpies after party was better then the pre-party,
with the guy singing and playing guitar,
and his buddy played some bongo drums,
great versions of betterman, Fn up, wma, etc.
