I think they should do a Pan Pipe classics album. With some polka.

I wanna hear more You Are, In My Tree and Sleight of Hand type songs!!!
i find this funny, since sleight of hand is exactly the type of song i NEVER want to hear from them again. i still haven't listened to that thing all the way through.

There's not a single pj album I'm not happy with and I'll be surprised if they ever do an exception. I'm not sure if someone who hasn't heard sleight of hand all the way through is in a position to judge it, just my opinion like.

I seem to be the only one amongst my p Jam friends who thinks they have returned to the Yield sound.
Down Man of the Hour Undone
they are like the 3 most recent tracks that never made it to a studio album and all 3 have that distinct sound remenisint of Yield.
I personally want a less political record, Riot Act went to far for my liking.
In my opinion, they never left the Yield sound, which is a shame. I love Yield, but they haven't strayed too far from it over the last two albums, when I'd like to see them really moving in a new direction, any direction.

It's not a song I like to sing along to, but it is a great headphone, zoning off song! Listin to all the crazy sounds, use your imagination.

I agree, close your eyes and listen to the words, SEE the merging traffic, the lying on his car radio, watching others pour into their homes, the organising his few things, his coat and keys, and him washing and putting himself in uniform, a very powerful song.

i would certianly like to see them go in a completely new direction. the sleight of hand/i'm open type stuff is great, but by now has even become a little predictable for pearl jam. when you think about some of pearl jam's most creative/experimental contemporaries (wilco, radiohead, hell even REM) you see a much more impressive artistic growth form album to album. pearl jam, however, gives you just enough to know that they are capable of it...but never go all the way
so, basically what i'm saying is, i have no clue what i want to hear from them next. just, something different.
