Fuck it! This is so brilliant, I'm giving it its own thread.

And while I'm mentioning lame songs that would sound great if Eddie sang them, I have a Christmas Single idea ...
Eddie and Corin Tucker singing "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Don't EVEN ACT like that wouldn't kick ass!!!
I am not worthy of my own ideas!

You think ahead... but maybe we should wait for the 2005 single first.

Man, I've been all over your grammar and spelling skills lately. Sorry.
I've been typing in hurry lately.

Maybe the genius at the Phen Club should get a head start on shipping those 2005 X-Mas singles, in hopes they will actually reach someone in the ever important month of December this year.

Heh.... it's like my rich aunt who always waits till February to send my present from Florida. I dont mind any more, plus its nice having something to look forward to after Christmas.
I have a great idea for a song on the next christmas single, Give us (the fans) Pearl Jam/Plant. I would love to see Given to Fly/Going to California on the next single.

That would be a good one. But I'm hoping they release that show, so maybe something from the stones show.

You think the Stones would let them use Wild Horses? That would be amazing...

No genuine new songs since 1999's Driftin and Strangest Tribe. Time to change this.
Wayyyyyy too long since
Driftin was cool, but I don't mind the rare covers (Someday At Christmas, Don't Believe In Christmas etc.)
Going to California would be cool. Perhaps match it with Hard to Imagine or Gone
It would be cool if Eddie did something with gone in the studio but I don't think they've ever put anything on a christmas single that they had previously released in any kind of offical capacity. Am I mistaken?

I would like to have a Gone/Crapshoot Rapture-single...
For some reason I doubt that any of'em are going to be on the album...
I would like Crapshoot rapture to be on the album, though, because I think it's one of the best songs I've heard from Pearl Jam since Yield! But hopefully all of the other songs on the album is even better...
But then again both of'em could make it on the album for all I know... I just have a feeling they won't...
Anyways:
A X-mas single with two brand new songs---> Yes please!
