Maybe my musical palate is finally maturing or the drugs are catching up with me and making me dumb, but I'm REALLY liking the self titled album, and Backspacer is starting to grow on me. Yield may be the last PJ album I loved immediately. No Code, Binaural, and Riot Act all took a couple of years for me to like and 2/3 of those are in my top 3 favorite albums of theirs.

In all seriousness, maybe being a family man myself (2 kids with another on the way) has given me a new way to relate to Pearl Jam's newer albums. Whatever it is though it's really exciting to be enjoying this band that I have tried to force myself to love for the past 5+ years. Ole!

You can't really call yourself a RMer if you don't listen to Wilco.

I vaguely remember hearing one Wilco song. I think I found it really boring.

Like, when I hear someone mention Wilco, in my head I go "did they do that homo rainbow song?"

Who would have thought that this would be the thread to remind me that I still need to go searching from some Ween albums at Cactus. Thanks Pete! Thanks HardTI!

Fuck I feel really bad knowing that I may have contributed to someone listening to Ween.

I'm going to be forced to credit you anytime I talk about Ween on this board now, friend.
