If not for his effects pedal, Morello would sound like an amateur. I'll give the guy mad credit for being creative, he SOUNDS fuckin awesome, but put him onstage with pj during Even Flow, and he'd be lost.

He is not creative anymome...just listen to Like a Stone, than listen to Be Yourself...the solos are 98% identical!

lol. I'm sorry, but in my own humble opinion, Sir Mike McCready is a far better guitarrist than Tom Morello, and I do like Tom Morello. It does seem however, that he plays the same solos, or too close to it, and his solos as stated before, seem to be just pure effect But the 'Cready has more versatility in a way, lol. His stuff and solos are more varied, imo. OK...... end of rant. Just my 2 cents hehe.

you fucking nutheads, the like a stone solo is probably one of the best put together melodic solo's. its fucking like tom's heart screaming or something, along with the second half of the shadow on the sun solo. the guy is a fucking genius full stop.
