We recently saw them and even though it was still a waste of money, they were much better than the previous years :). As for PJ, we are adding two days to our Roskilde Festival vacation to see them in Oslo and Copenhagen. Also, we will go to Amsterdam since for that one all we need are the tickets.
I added all events on Facebook so if people want to they can click and confirm their attendance: http://www.facebook.com/PJBugs?sk=events

groetjes,
Mirella :)

gotta say.
seen the chill peppers @the 02 dublin last month and they were pretty good live..all too short of a gig though. anyways.
my 2 regular PJ gigging friends arent gonna take in this tour to Manchester, so looks like my wee boy will be witnessing the mighty PJ in the flesh with me.God knows he's heard enough of them.

that'll be 2 gigs in a row where i cant drink till i fall down after gig. :(

the joys of parenting the next generation of rawwkers !!!!!

Argh. Sod's law indicates that not only is trying to buy Manchester standing pointless, but probably wouldn't be worth it because the setlist will include Ole, Hail Hail, Evenflow, The Fixer, Worldwide Suicide, Elderly Woman and Supersonic.

Despite the lyrical content of the song, every live rendition of Hail, Hail feels like the band is detached. It doesn't even sound nice as a song, just a big awkward riff that obstructs everything. It also makes Ed's voice sound bored because he doesn't have to try to sing it.

I challenge anyone to find a live recording of Hail, Hail that doesn't sound like the vocals are a drawl.

If I wasn't so sure there are going to be US dates, I would be.

I'm passing this time. The choice of a trek to Manchester or a weekend in a field. Pass.

Hopefully they'll hit the O2 in London with the new album.

Just bought my tickets for Stockholm. They went fast. 11000-13000 tickets in like 5 minutes or something. Good thing I'm faster than a greased lightning :D It's gonna be GREAT to finally be able to see them in my hometown. I saw Copenhagen in 2007 but I think that this one will top that experience. Wishlist: no backspacer-songs. hopefully no code through riot act with a little new cream on top!

It's a wise choice. Having been fucked over already I wish I had decided on this approach

Weeeird.
Noel Gallaghers High flying birds are supporting the Chili peppers in Croker.
That's an odd combo if ever I seen one.
