 Post subject: Xmas Single cover....AC hotel room with fake background?

Just wondering if anyone knew where the picture from the front cover of the xmas single was from. I know the background is fake, obviosly. I have this idea that it might be a shot from the hotel room where ed recorded "Gone". Looks like a good little demo setup. Just curiuos if anyone had ideas or knew.

Yeah I believe you're right. Man what I wouldn't give to know what's on that piece of paper on the window sill. I'm thinking it's like the lyrics, but who knows?

The background is surely from somewhere in South America.
Due the amateur soccer goal bars, the Sol beer inverted logo and the poverty shown in the pic.

i didnt look to closely at the cover but isnt sol beer from mexico

Whether that was actually the room Ed recorded Gone in or whether it was just a setup is anyones guess.
