I know this sound a little crazy, so keep an open mind.

I can sense when "Something Pearl Jam" is around.

I'm a sniper on the Radio. I can flip the dial & find pearl jam at least once per car ride. (here in Mass we are lucky enough to have 6 stations that I call "Pearl Jam Friendly")

Below ar some very real examples:

On the way home this morning I hit "Hail Hail" on 107.3 then kept flipping and waited on a commercial for no real reason, but when it was over "Education" came on 95.5.

When Vote For Choice was on Sundance I could flip to durring the next week & be within 10 min of PJ coming out.

I find "Singles" on cable once a week.

Finding RITFW from the VMA on VH1 Classic ?!?

but by far the best one ever was witnessed by my girl. We were in the car & it was again on a commercial, and I said "Pearl Jam is coming on next" Emily said yeah right. before the commercial ended I went "WAAAAA" from the video version of Even Flow & SON OF A BITCH "WAAAAA" answered me back & Emily freaked out. It was the best !

Anyone else experieced this sort of thing ?

pretty cool.
last year i was flipping around the tv stations and i stopped at hockey and i never watch hockey. Some player was being interviewed and he said while he plays he sings pj tunes. Its weird cause i dont like hockey at all.

Usually when i see pj live i always have a strange feeling that even flow will be played

I wish Hail, Hail would come on the radio stations where I live. I get nothing but the occasional Jeremy, or maybe even betterman once a year. It's really bad, I only have one "rock" radio station and it plays avril lavigne.

I usually have a pretty good sense, but there's rarely any PJ stuff going on around me that isn't caused by me in some way. That "WAAAA" version of Evenflow, it's been a while since I've seen the video, but is that the version from Boston April 12th, 94 @ The Orpheum? I love that version.

i have had two weird things happen on the radio

1. I had the perth boot on and go stared so i went to turn it up but i missed and hit next (or so i thought) and last exit came on... so i left it but then though.....hey last exit wasnt played in perth and it turns out i hit the fm button just as last exit started.

2. Years ago about christmas i was in the car with my mum and my sister and i was in the back and moloko came on and i hate that stuff so i said shut this up i hate it and it stopped straight after i said that and then the guy on the radio was like "dont know what happened there...it must have been santa"

I've heard that Pearl Jam started using stealth techology after they heard about the radar phenomenon...

My only bizzare experience similar to this one was when I turned the radio on and Dirty Frank was playing (it was way before LD was released).

I was flipping channels last night & stopped on the sitcom "Wings", which I never watch. This 19 year-old chick was taking one of the main characters to a Pearl Jam concert. All of his friends were laughing at him 'cause he's old! I've never seen this before!

I also rarely listen to the stereo in the car, but when I do, there always seems to be a PJ song that comes on...

Not really "radar" but that's my story for the day!

What stations are Pearl Jam friendly......I barely listen to the radio in Mass because it's too aggravating to listen to Good Charolette and Evanesesndnencnene

mRblonde....what station is 95.5? i live on worcester and never heard of it! but yea, i can agree that i have somewhat pj radar. i think BCN is more pj-friendly than AAF. 101.1 plays a ton of PJ, especially on weekends when they have the block party

107.3
104.1
101.1
101.7?
100.3?

what are your other "pj friendly stations"?

guessing the 2nd + 3rd songs of a rock block is one of the greatest games ever to pass time in the car or at work
