i turned on Jools there to give it another watch, impatience setting in what with August being so near and yet so far, and i'm a tad unsettled now. During the interview with Jools and Eddie and Mike, something VERY worrying was said, i don't know if anyone else picked up on it, or if i'm just being paranoid or what, but however;

Question about the band improving with age etc.
Eddie; "...yadda yadda...making better music now than we ever have..."
Jools; "And i think i hold the proof of that here in my hand!" *bashes Avocado off the table with a grin*
Eddie; "Well it's our last attempt anyway..."


Now am i freaking out for now reason here, or does that sound like this is our last attempt at greatness, like it or lump it because we're not making anymore albums; or what??? i'm scared....

I interpreted it as him meaning "latest attempt".

You don't generally say things like "we're going to make better and better records as we get older" when you've decided not to make any more records.

i wouldn't mind that at all...years and years of more touring...new album every now and then...i wouldnt complain

Well if it is the end, I will be glad they stopped w/avocado instead of riot act. Much rather their see them go out on top than w/an experimental album.

That being said, I hope they keep making albums as long as they feel creatively driven to do so together.
