A clip of the Jon Stewart Show with Eddie, Dave Grohl, and Mike Watt.....actually, any recording would be ridiculous.

i did one better than that.. i saw it live when watt toured for the ball hog album with hovercraft and foo fighters opening. i think that was 94.. in fact, i sang with watt on his punk rock karaoke tour in 96 i think.. i did sonic reducer with watt and a group of guys from other bands.. bad religion, nofx, social d, etc.. was a highlight of my life for sure.

Yes, it's from Jon Stewart's old ABC late night show. I used to have it on VHS. A great intro from Stewart..i remember him saying "ladies and gentlemen, Mike Watt..." and had this shit-eating grin and kinda slammed down his cue card and turned over to the stage with this look of utter delight.

Watt, Eddie, Grohl and Pat Smear did a great version of Big Train (off Ballhog or Tugboat) then at the end of the show they played THe Red and the Black (Blue Oyster Cult cover) with Watt and eddie trading chorus lines, Grohl blazing on *guitar* and William Goldsmith drumming. Great show if you can find it.
