I'm sitting over here alone in the armpit state of the country... wondering who's around from the tri-state area and looking to chill, or converge when PJ comes around again. Tailgate and what have you.
I'm 23, single again, after a long and deeply emmotional 2yr relationship with my ex g/f. I still need some down time... but I'm positive and looking forward to healing. PJ and the fanbase is exactly what I need to be surrounded by.
I've been listening to PJ since the 90's, but saw my first 2 shows up in Canada 05' - Kitchner and Hamilton. They are the most amazing band I have ever seen play. They play like no other, give it their all at every venue. Lyrically Amazing, Musically Unbelievable... Values, morals and beliefs about life are just .... indescribable...

I live in the Philadelphia area, Stip. But it's close enough to Jersey.
Anyhow, welcome to the board, dude. When PJ comes back to Philly or Jersey I'll definitely be looking forward to meeting up with some local RM fans. Just look for the guy with a bottle of vodka and a thong that says Stone's Bitches, and that's me.

same shit. New Jersey doesn't really exist anyway other than the shore. the rest of jersey is either in the orbit of philly, NYC, or rural pennsylvania

I've always had a love/hate relationship with New Jersey. There's so much I love about the state and so much I hate. Oh well... I'd always rather be born and raised in NJ than some loser state like Rhode Island or Alabama.

I was born in Rhode Island, but I never lived there.
New Jersey is one of the few states that I have not been to.

Do you disagree, or do you think it sucks that that is true (I live in NJ and love my state but I think that's pretty accurate)

See I would agree and disagree with this statement. True, northern NJ is really an orbit of NYC and southern NJ to Philly. But I think in between, NJ has really its own sense of culture. Look at just all the actors who all hail from NJ. From Jack Nicholson to Danny DeVito to Bruce Willis to Susan Sarandon to Tom Cruise. All from New Jersey. Then look at the "Weird NJ" books and stuff. New Jersey while highly influenced by the huge cities close to it, has developed its own culture in some ways unlike a state like Connecticut which also is part of the NYC orbit but doesn't have that culture or diversity.
