Sorry if this was posted already but I cant see it.
The Sunday Telegraph in Sydney today have a small article saying that PJ's management have ended speculation by confirming an Australian tour for the second half of 2006.

There is no other info, and I cant find the article online but I will transcribe it later if anyone is interested.

It's not huge news since Jeff mentioned the same thing in an interview a while back, but at least it's a bit more official now.

"ONE of the world's most popular rock bands, Pearl Jam, has put an end to weeks of speculation by confirming plans to tour Australia.

Pearl Jam's management delivered the news to a senior music industry figure last week.

The group is expected to tour Australia in the second half of the year.

Pearl Jam spent 2005 working on a new album and touring North America and Latin America.

Their best-known songs include Jeremy, Alive, Even Flow and Daughter.

Confirmation of their tour adds to an already star-packed touring year for high-profile bands"

Hey I hope you didn't think I was trying to take the piss outta ya Cal.

I'm just so happy about it and thought the Aussies who post on here should see this.

I have the newspaper article right in front of me as we speak and it sure looks sweet.

haha Aussie... its so funny reading sundays news from Aussie... considering it is 1245 AM SUnday morning here....

In the sports section today I was reading about the Aussie Open womans finals.... that happened already that day....

Is that not weird when you read in that days paper
"earlier today" especially considering most papers go to press around midnight....
