PJ is featured very prominently in the NEW Rolling Stone with Keifer Sutherland on the cover---here are some excerpts...
ON Touring---
"While Pearl Jam could be one of the year's top-grossing bands, their ticket prices will be more in line with Dave Matthews Band, than the Stones. "How Rich do you have to be?" Says Kelly Curtis...This bands philosohpy is that they are very fortunate to be making the money that they are making"
On the New Album--
World Wide Suicide was Downloaded for free over 250,000 times in 5 days--Jeff Ament says that they are considering a VIDEO for the second single...
On touring with Petty--
Pj are OPENING for Petty, along with...John Meyer, Trey Anastasio, and Petty HOPES...The Strokes, and the Allman brothers band. Petty is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Heartbreakers and feels that this could be the FINAL Summer tour for them...
All in all, I have to say that it is very good press for the band, and the effort that they are making to try to make this album HUGE is becoming more clearly visable every day...

Didnt 10C say they are both doing full sets???
10C says lots of stuff.
*EDIT*
Most opening bands play a 45 minute set or so. PJ will be playing more than that, without a doubt. Will they be playing a 30 song 2.5 hour show before Petty? Not bloody likely.
Probably more like a 75-90 minute set, about 17-20 songs. Basically what a "full set" was for them back in 1994.

it'll be about 84 minutes, just to make sure it won't fit on one disc
