Just wondering (and apologies if there is a thread related to this; I did look and couldn't find one) if the new album is leaked will you listen to the mp3s or wait until the album proper is released?
Personally, I think I'll wait until the album comes out - it's always a buzz listening to the new music whilst looking over the artwork and lyrics.

I caved for Binaural and it ruined the surprise of the full experience of beholding the masterpiece in its whole form on release date, CD artwork and all*.
As Riot Act approached, I somehow fought off even the radio in hearing "I Am Mine" until the release date, and I wasn't disappointed.
*then again, some would argue that Binaural wasn't exactly a masterpiece to begin with; going from the super-charged Letterman performance of "Grievance" to the hollow studio version was a colossal kick in the junk

I don't know how "pure" I'll stay, but I want to be able to give the album a fair listening. The last two haven't done much for me, and I want to do as much as I can to create ideal conditions to "fall in love." In other words, I'm buying the new album a sexy leather g-string, motorcycle hat and boots to wear for the first outing. I figure if that doesn't do it, nothing will.

1st listen has to be alone in my car on a drive to Cape Cod.
That has been my ritual since Vitalogy.
I will never not do that. I take the day after a new disc comes out off every time.

That's a pretty cool idea - I might have to borrow it.
