I've been looking to buy the Basketball Diaries soundtrack for a while.
It's got a song called Catholic Boy by Jim Carroll and Pearl Jam. I was wondering if anyone knows some history behind the song and what it's like.
Cheers

it's pretty true to Jim Carroll's original. I think everybody plays on it but Stone. I think Ed and Mike do the guitarwork, or it could just be Ed maybe. But Jim is the lone singer. It's ok.
awesome version of catholic boy , killer soundtrack. The second Jim Carol original on their is actually better, the bad stuff isnt bad, only weird as heell, and you get Soundgardens Blind Dogs, Flea of the Chili Peppers does a good song, Strawberry wine is a great song whoever its by plus Riders by the doors, star by the cult. I grew up watching this movie and listening to this soundtrack, I think its one of the greats.
