PJ are nowhere to be seen. Does this mean that Tool will outsell PJ that badly in its first week? I would have expected the Album to be a little higher up in the charts due to the success of WWS.

If it makes you feel any better Tool fans are 10 times more likely than Pearl Jam fans to walk in front of a moving bus.

We all bought the album through the 10C to get the free boot.

We should all expect Tool's album to outsell PJ's. Accept it now and it won't seem so disappointing when it actually happens.

Doesn't matter to me, though. I think PJ's album will debut in the top 3 for sure, and maybe have longer staying power if word gets out to the general public about how strong it is. To top it off, I like Tool, so if they debut in the #1 spot, that's far from being a bad thing.

Can 10c tell us how many have already pre ordered from them?

and will I assume these will count towards first week sales?

Could care less how many records they sell because it will be plenty, just curious.

both are amazing bands. Tool has a much higher profile these days and this should come as no suprise. If PJ outsells them it will be over time as old fans return and new fans discover them.

Has Tool had similar leaking issues of the new album as Pearl Jam have?

I think they're better about it. Tool albums would probably suffer more than most with a crappy leak so maybe the fans don't care as much.
