Ok, I don't know if this type of thread has been done before and if it has well, fuck it, it'll done again but, you know how everybody has their favorite Beatle? Well, I was thinking, each of the guys in Pearl Jam have been in the songwriting process enough to have this question apply to them...so..who's your favorite 'Jammist' (if you can come up w/ a better way to identify a member of the band except for this word, please share)?
Subquestion: If you feel the above question is lame or just have a lot of time on your hands, which 'Jammist' do you feel like right now/would you be, if given the choice?

Jeff
Eddie
Stone
Matt
Mike
Boom
I can't pick a favorite, I just can't! Sorry.

i don't think it's lame. and i don't think i have a favorite one. let's say, some are closer, others are further, you know? Ed is definitely the most exposed, because of the singing and the lyrics, the obvious above average good looks, and for being the spokesman of the band. Mike is wild and darker and sarcastic, that devilish smile of his... Stone is the stone, somehow i feel that he keeps the others together, he seems more centered. Jeff is the sweetest guy i've ever seen, he gives a gentleness to the band, he's like a cushion wall and takes the punches that come from Ed and Mike, and Matt. Matt grinds the pearl to dust (how do you expect to make pearl jam without grinding it first?), he is a reliable engine for the whole jam machine. as for who i identify with, i'd say Ed, though i'm a woman. i'm living an "Ed Vedder phase" nowadays, maybe the former, angrier, bursting Ed, it's affecting my voice and the music that comes through me. i worry slightly about becoming a bad female Ed Vedder copy-cat, but it serves me well for the time being. i've never been happier in my life as i've been for the last couple of years, and PJ is a huge part of this.

Stone!!
It's funny because my sister (mild PJ fan) has a Stone look-alike in one of her classes so during class i'll get random texts like "I'm sitting next to Stone!" and tries taking pictures of him on her cell phone so she could show me.....why wouldn't I want to see???

Nicely said. I can relate with your last sentence.
