This is something Punkdavid pointed out to me not too long ago that I never noticed. Does anyone else have anything about Pearl Jam that has recently been brought to your attention?
A couple more for me:
-I always thought the lyrics in Corduroy were "everything has changed...absolutely nothing's changed." Turns out he's saying "everything has chains"
-In Green Disease, I thought he said "no I don't practice breaking your feelings." What he says is "no white or black just grey, can you feel this?"

I know everything there is to know about Pearl Jam, and when I learn something I didn't I just assume that the new fact is wrong

do you think he masturbates?
if he couldn't he hardly be god. I'm pretty sure St. Thomas Aquinas addressed this in one of his terrible books

Did you know its actually "sleigh of hand", not "sleight". Like Santas sleigh, riding around the snow full of hands. probably hands of bad kids.
for a while, I too thought corduroy was "changed . . . changed" like you.
Its better that way
Also for "Elderly woman..." I always thought it was "you wouldnt recall, I'm not my father." not "former"

3 things i've learned in this thread.
the one about green disease--i half thought it said that, but i could tell there was something wrong with the way i was hearing it every time i heard the song.
i like the green disease one better, the other two worse. i think i'll keep thinking of those two the way i heard them before.
