I just suggested to the infamous Ten and Vs detractor, Cal Varnsen, that he sell his copy of Ten. My question is...do any of you think you can truly get rid of a Pearl Jam album? I'm talking about one of their studio albums or Lost Dogs. Do you dislike it enough to actually put it up for sale? Will Varnsen be able to part ways with Release?

Discuss.

I honestly don't think I would go without any album. Sure, all albums have their flaws, but they all have their gems. Although, I don't think it would make anyone any less of a fan for saying that they would do without one.

Even the PJ album I like the least (no code) I still love. So no way.

Hell no. I could probably pick out my copies out of a stack of the same albums, I've studied all their worn marks and cracks. Like the top of Riot Act was ruined when I took off the sticker and both Yield and Binural have the bottom right corner peeling. :D

Even though I don't like/listen to their first 3 albums as much as I used to, I would never get rid of them. Plus, if I ever had kids someday, I'd like it if they listened to the albums. Maybe it will mean something to them, like they did to me back in the day.

I have never sold or intentionally parted with any album. It's a collection, and it's my history, and even if I never spin the Best of Kansas, or OU812 ever again, I have them in a shoebox in my closet.

A good question to ask would be if the Pearl Jam album you liked the least got scratched and it wouldn't play right, would you buy it again?

I could easily part ways with Ten or Vs, I can't remember the last time I listened to either of them.

i'm the same way in terms of listening to them, but i could never see myself getting rid of them. i actually spun ten the other day out of the blue.
