Does the first 20 seconds and some other parts of this song remind anyone else of Pearl Jam? Also, at 2:42 when Brandon starts to sing "This isn't coincidence. There's no such thing..." it reminds me of Stone mainly on Bayleaf of course.

no, i know what you're talking about and you're right. i love that album. i think its incubus's best. there's a raeson it sounds like pearl jam. brendan o'brien produced it.

That's true about Brendan, but he wouldn't have that affect on what they actually played would he? I love the album too. I rank it as my fave with Morning View. I can't believe I didn't really notice the similarities sooner though. I mean I have for awhile now, but still not long enough.

true but a producer has an effect on how things are arranged and sound a lot. so i'm sure he had input on how some of the music came out sounding.

I think it's more about Incubus and the sound they were looking for, but I'll agree that Brendan's touch may have pushed it a little more in that direction.
