I got most of my PJ (and music) news from Rolling Stone magazine, and (gasp) MTVnews. Remember they'd have little updates throughout the hour, and like a week in review type show. I'd always be excited to hear news about Vs. or Vitalogy.

Little could have prepared the Cameronia of 1994 for "Elderly Woman" returning permanently to the setlist in 1998 and becoming the Kumbaya-fest to end all Kumbaya-fests.

Alive had a huge impact on me. I also went crazy the first time I heard Go on the radio. But the thing that really cemented PJ as my favorite band was the Animal/Rockin' in the Free World performance on the VMAs. They just sounded so raw and powerful, I was completely blown away.

The sandal-wearing frat-boy contingent was already in full swing circa 1994.

Man, I hated that when it came out. If you still used this board, I'd kick you in the dick.
