The Stereoboard.com CD of the Week is the new album by the American Institution that is Pearl Jam.
The self titled album sees a return to form for the Seattle band, who have been around now and making music for over 15 years, with this being their 8th studio release.
The new album is produced by Adam Kasper, and is the follow up 2002's 'Riot Act'.
Asked about the new album, the band commented "We've got all the instruments going full force, yet coexisting. It's like we took our aggressions and shaped something positive from them in a very direct manner. "
"Though we'd qualify most of the record as hard-driving, the two quiet ones ('Parachutes' and 'Come Back') could be our best attempts yet at pulling the disguises off of loss of life, and even love."
Since their inception in 1991, Pearl Jam has sold nearly 60 million albums worldwide, including millions of live bootlegs.
The band has released 7 studio records, 2 live records, one double-disc b-sides record, and one double-disc greatest hits record.

Freshman comp. classes should use this is an example of how not to write a review. Or whatever it's supposed to be. It's just a bunch of random, unrelated sentences. Gah. It's like the guy just searched Googlism for "Pearl Jam."

why don't you compile all the reviews in one thread?
Stip was doing that at one point...
still is. look above you. These will drop off the main page but the reviews will all be in one place
turned2black--feel free to pm me if it's a short review not worth making a thread over.
