I work in the security field mostly but left the night club chain I worked for 11 years for about 5 months ago. I recently landed a gig working with a buddy of mine at a new club which is damn nice. I have been bar backing there and working security as well. So being inside on the weekends behind the bar I hear verything the DJ spins. I noticed my first night (last weekend) that at the end of the night before closing the DJ played 6 songs by Pearl Jam and various stuff through out the night prior. I was happy and impressed by his playing selection to say the least. My second night I knew that he had to be a PJ fan of sorts. So the next weekend (Last night) I burned a copy of WWS and brought it in. I passed it to the DJ, he asked if it was slow or fast. I told him it was really rock paced and pretty fast compared to most the music on there last 2 albums, My manager whom is a good friend of mine and I have known for years was in the DJ booth an hour later checking out the new single. He was impressed and I was shocked to find out he was a massive fan himself and goes to every local concert in Illinois and Mo. that he can. He stated and I quote "This has to be the best damn single or song to come out since Yield". They added it to the playlist and played it twice last night. It's now on the play list every day from here on.

That's what I like to hear. I hope this song causes people to buy the album and get into PJ a little more.
It has to be the best choice for a single they could make I imagine. Last 2 albums I bought all the singles and had to kind of grow into them a bit. Took time to get used to but with this single I was hooked right off the bat. We rocked the house twice with it and people were really digging it. Was good to see.

I am Mine got me into pearl jam, it blew me away totally. I don't have such feelings for World Wide Suicide. Its too average sounding, even if it's well written.

what kind of "clubs" play that type of music. the dive bars i go to may have it in a jukebox, but a DJ? they mix it with Pink's new single? hahaa
Hollywood Showclub (A Strip club). That's right, it's a strip club. Kyle the DJ plays full 3 song sets of Pearl Jam.
the band would be very proud
