Something tells me Jeff can. Eddie sorta rapped in a funky groove sort of way in Bad Radio.

Very strange question...but there is any answer. On some very early demos there are some funk songs that they did where ed raps in the middle....I don't like rap...but he wasn't good. Glad they dropped the funk from their catalog!

They did that song with Cypress Hill for some movie with Dennis Leary. Pretty weird moment, to me anyway.

"i like to read bukowski butt naked"

-i'm alive, how's that (early solo ed)

the full song/rap

i guess it is by bad radio, although the box set i had a long time ago had it listed as eddie solo

"i'm alive, how's that"
so there i was walking down the street
kinda surprised to be there 'cause...
i don't know, there's a lot of bad shit goin' on in the world
rape and murder
racism and starvation
and i'm feeling like i'm doin' pretty good for myself, you know?
i'm alive, how's that?
i'm alive, how's that?
i'm alive, how's that?
anyway, i was thinking about rap music in general and i feel bad
i mean, where you going to go after the beverly hillbillies?
rap hit it's peak in the 60s
i'm alive, how's that?
i'm alive, how's that?
i'm alive, how's that?
eh, what do you want, something profound in every verse?
"jesus loves me this i know, for the bible tells me so"
i'm alive, how's that?
i'm alive, how's that?
i'm alive, how's that?
i like to drink beer, i like to make love, i like to jam!

yea it was 98 in Atlanta. The Beastie Boys were playing the next night which let th the Yeastie Girls conversation. I found out later the the Yeastie Girls were real. I have found some of their songs. Pretty funny stuff. Anyways Ed was seen at the Beasties the next night.

the interview/article from spin magazine done in (i think?) 1992 has ed, stone, and jeff and the writer hanging out in a club. the writer states that stone is really into hip hop and r&b, along with some house music, while eddie seemed out of place in the club. i'm at work right now, i'll try to post the material when i get home.

You know I make these weird threads in this part of the board and then promptly forget I ever made them for like two days or more. Then I click on the part again and surprise myself.

Matt can rap if he wanted to. It might not be good but if he raps anything like he drums,... look out Dr. Dre.
