Heh, Dave A
I feel kind of bad for Kurt Loder. They weren't easy interviews back then

Wait a second! How is that Jeremy kid still alive when we saw him die in the video? Was that all an illusion?

True enough. But let's be fair, Loader wasn't exactly the most intelligent, thoughtful interviewer. He's straight out of the Entertainment Tonight mold. "So, what song did you perform tonight?"
EDIT: I meant to add that Eddie's comments about music "keeping you alive" about 2 minutes into the video: . Anyone know what song R.E.M. performed that night (the one Ed was talking about)? I should know this, but I'm just drawing a blank. I can only assume that it was Everybody Hurts, though, based on what Ed was saying and the fact that it was 93.

Can Eddie give a interview without mentioning Pete fuckin Townshend?

I believe you are correct. A nice performance too. It's a beautiful song

Not too mention an amazing album. Automatic For The People was very different from any of their previous work and it came together as a very haunting album. Try Not To Breathe, Find The River and Monty Got a Raw Deal are probably the stand-out tracks, IMO.

Whenever the state of today's music and bands come up in conversations I am a part of its hard NOT to mention Pearl Jam and consequently Ed, what's the problem?
Ed looks up to Pete as much as people look up to him and HIS band...

Yeah, a google and IMDB.com search came up with nothing that I could find. I guess he's doing something random now, but can always say he was the Jeremy kid. I would assume he gets free PJ tickets for life though.

I want to say they did "Whats the Frequency, Kenneth?" for some reason. I think Automatic had all ready been out for 2 years at that point and Monster was about to be released.
I stand corrected:
