Anyone know the band The Gandharvas? If so, do you think that Faithfull sounds a lot like them? It's something I've thought of since the first time I heard the song.

I love the Gandharvas... and, now that you mention it, I do see the similarities.

I don't know too, too much of their stuff - I guess I'm just comparing the vocals and overall "twang" of Faithfull to "Downtime"

i don't hear any similarities...
but i'm not familiar with the entire gandharvas catalogue, just a few songs..

The Gandharvas reminded me more of Jane's Addiction...not really so much the music, but their singers voice was pretty similar.

well, ive never heard of these guys, but i listened to the album sampler on amazon, and then bought the cd for 1 freakin cent! even if i hate it, it was worth it.
