Maybe it's just me, but it seems as if Jeff is getting lost in the mix, especially in live situations. He usually plays his instrument as if it were as distinct as the guitars--a clear tone and a part of the musical complexity-- (it is and is should be).

he's sadly absent during the intro of Inside Job on the live bootlegs, which his haunting bass is the best part about that entire intro.

I've only listened to Toronto #1 so far and this is one of the first thing I've noticed. You can't hear Jeff (and the overall mix is weak).

You could really hear him well on the Canadian boots.... I havent heard any from this tour though.

1 great example of the Canadian boots is Hail Hail.... I never know how much ass that bass line kicked untill the Winnipeg Bootleg.

yeah he definitely sounds absent on the albany boot. kinda sounds empty in the lower range altogether.

Would have been nice to have Jeff turned up a little more for Rats. That song was made to bump a good bass line.
