I recently got a new cell phone and got rid of my ghetto as hell old one. Are there any pearl jam ringtones available cause I'm having trouble finding one. I'm with cingular and have a motorola v-220. thank you.

I have AT&T which is now part of Cingular's network. Through them I got the opening chords of Yellow Ledbetter. It's the only PJ one they offer, but your phone needs to be "RealTONES" compatable. It's cool, but not long enough so it starts to repeat and sounds kinda dumb if you don't pick up right away.

i've got the same phone and i'm also with cingular and have yet to find a real audio (mp3) pj ringtone. although planetringtone.com has this program called ringtone ripper that allows you to make your own ringtones. i think a year's subscription is around $10 or $11. you might want to try it, i just haven't taken the time to check out all the details.

I have Sprint PCS, i have Yellow Ledbetter as well, it plays the entire intro riffs, and is the actual recording

I have the Moto v600 and I connect it through my PC with Bluetooth and upload all my ringtones myself. Motorola does make a USB cable that will allow you to do this as well.

hmm.... how'd you do this again? do you just pick up the USB cable at the cell phone place? and also, are there any web-sites for free motorola ring tones that anyone knows about? I found sprint ones but no motorola. And does your phone have to be connected to the internet for ringtones to download?

This cable along with Motorola Mobile Phone Tools and a few other freeware programs will allow you to upload and download content from your phone.
I use Bluetooth which needs no cable, but for example, my phone can use mp3 ringtones so I edit all my own ringtones, encode them to mp3 and transfer them to my phone. Since no one is sending them to me, I pay no charges. This is valid for games as well. I have a lot of freeware java games uploaded to my phone (like 15 of them).
