Lars is just annoyed that the last Metallica album is pure sh*t while the last Pearl Jam album is pure gold.

I wonder if there are really Metallica fans who sit there and watch all this shit and are entertained. I'm glad someone on here marked when the PJ comment was, there was no way I was watching past minute 3.

I didn't click the link, I just feel like declaring how much I'd enjoy it if Lars Ulrich was hit by a bus.

Sure. People here would piss themselves if Eddie and Jeff yacked on for 20 minutes about anything from their rehersal space.

if you put pearl jam in the same spot, their fans would jack off to it.
some would.

and by the way, i really don't care what Lars says about Pearl Jam. It was a joke anyway, I don't think he was thinking about making a grand statement to smite Pearl Jam because their new album is more critically acclaimed or some shit.

This whole thing is retarded. What a way to make yourself look retarded online.

Note to bands: not every use of the internet is good.

why does he always sit around in bathrobes? because he can? matt cameron's a better drummer than you lars... and he even leads a kickass side project.

I don't know squat about Metallica these days. To what degree is this serious, and to what degree is it goofy, because I feel like I'm watching This is Spinal Tap. "Did we send that last guy a toaster?"

It's funny to watch, and I don't think there's anything wrong or unpleasant about the PJ references. I love when he's logging on to the computer. "Pearl Jam wouldn't hide it!"

Agreed. We've all thought about it at one time or another.

Say what you want about Metallica, and I agree that they are utter shit and laughable now, but they put out 3 (maybe 4, maybe 5 depending on your perspective) albums that were more innovative than anything Pearl Jam ever did...I'm talking Ride the Lightening, Master of Puppets, and Justice. Some people feel the same way about Kill 'Em All and/or the Black Album, though I personally don't.

its deeply sad.. because i really love old metallica stuff... it was a little heavier for my tastes back int he 80s when i was a kid.. but as I started to listen to stuff that rocked harder then U2 in the 90's, the path led me to the old metallica albums.

Master of Puppets is my favorite, with Ride the Lightning and And Justice for all right behind.

They are just phenomenal hard fucking rocking albums, but not to the extent it sounds like 90's/00's death metal. Just really fucking hard rock music. I fucking love it....

so when they keep releasing these new albums, and jabber on about how good it is, and its the best thing they've ever done, all I want to do is gag. I saw metallica in toronto in '98, and it was fucking awesome... a few songs off load/reload, but the rest was mostly older material.

I miss metallica, what a bunch of pussies they've become, but that still doesn't keep me from enjoying the older albums.
