Well, im not discussing about the binaural production....but about the FACT that in the studio version the guitar plays 3 notes for chord ...but 4 notes for chord in the live versions (at least in the ones i heard).
If are not still understanding what the fuck im saying just hear the studio version and after Benaroya.
IMO the 4 notes feels more incisive while only 3 notes lacks something...

The studio version has so much echo, on guitar and other instruments, that the additional note is unneeded. The way they play it live, to avoid silent pause (which comes across akward in a live setting) an additional note must be added.

all i know is.... SoH rocks in the studio, and is a sound that cannot be recreated live. though i love when they try!
I actually like this one more live than in the studio. It's a little too cold and hollow for me. I understand artistically why it works for the song, but I don't enjoy listening to it.

Can we try to start abbreviating less song titles.

The binaural production + the extra note = plusperfection.
Oh well, we cant have everything at once
