compared to other bands?
I think I might listen to them too often, if that's possible.
I listen to them about 75% of the time I'm listening to music. Like I usually listen to CDs striaght thru and I probably listen to a Pearl Jam CD or boot 3 out of every 4 cds I listen to.
Do you think that is too much?
What about you guys?

I'm very streaky with my music. I'll listen to one artist pretty intensley for a few days to a week and then go on to someone else. But that someone else tends to be Pearl Jam more than most, and the binges last much longer.

Almost the same thing here...but my Pearl Jam streak has been for 2 years now.

Whenever a band I love has a new album coming out, I tend to listen to all the old stuff 1-2 weeks beforehand and then listen to the new album almost constantly until I get tired of it.
Except I haven't gotten tired of Pearl Jam yet.

Yea...this is pretty much exactly how I am.
thats how i roll as well.
I'm like this a lot as well.
Though when I first discovered Bruce Springsteen it was about a two year listening binge where he consisted of 90% of my music. Then the same thing happened for about the same length of time with everything Eric Clapton. Now, that can burn you out at the end.

I think I may listen to them too much, if there is such a thing. I keep about 10 boots in each of my cars. I'll listen to the "new rock" station, and when they start playing the same old shit over and over again, I'll pop a good boot in and it may be in for days, and days before I turn the radio station back on. "Pearl jam" hass been in a whole lot in the last 6 weeks, along with the 06 shows I went to....[/quote]

I'd say I listen to about 85 percent PJ vs. other music.
I also listen to REM, Beatles, RHCP, Neil Young, a little rap, and others I would probably get made fun of for listening to.

Don't worry, you're not the only one on this board who listens to a little rap.

I was big into Snoop, old skool Snoop, but I don't like the new stuff.
